Last week my nephew asked me how Santa was going to come into our house if we do not have a chimney.  I was so excited because I'd followed Emma's (MCT) blog hop (12 Days of Christmas)  and I remembered the Magic Key project made by Vicki of VK Create.   I then made the project using her poem.  H was sooo happy, as was I also because he truly believed Santa would be able to  come in and leave gifts because he was a good boy, and knew he was on Santa's good list.
The products I used for this project are: Red and White cardstock; grungeboard key by Tim Holtz; Martha Stewart red glitter on the key; red stickles around the trimming of the tag; red ribbon and grommet by We R Memory Keepers and chipboard pieces by Brenda Walton.  I used a black felt tip marker to write the poem.  This project was so much fun and easy to make and now Nicholas (my nephew) knows to leave the Magic Key for Santa.  I want to thank Emma of MCT and Vicki of VK Create for all the great ideas and their inspiration.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Please leave a comment.

I apologize my pictures are not very clear.  Well, yesterday was the last day of the 12 Day Christmas Hop by Emma of MCT and her DT.  It was SOOOO MUCH FUN and I am so happy I participated.  I got so many wonderful ideas during this hop.  The tree below being one of them.  I am making this as a gift for my nephew's school teacher.

I took a styrofoam tree shape and simply added mini chocolate Hershey's, soft peppermints, mini candy  cane ornaments, white fun fur yarn, and pointsettas.  I pinned everything down with pearlhead straight pins.

At the top of the tree I used a chipboard Angel, attached a popicle stick on the back and added white feathers.   I really enjoyed making this and hope to get many more projects done by Christmas.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Please feel free to leave a comment.

My nephew had a birthday party to go to for a friend and he asked me to make him a card.  His friend turned 14 y.o.

Materials I used to make this card: Me&My Big Ideas Specialty cardstock; Tim Holtz Angel Wings Die; Perfect Pearls (Blue) on the wings; and Glimmer Mist (Dazzling Diamonds) also on the wings; I used the Beyond Birthdays cart for Happy Birthday and I also used a Sizzix die for the candle inside the flip on the outside of the card; and lastly I used gold metallic cardstock on the candle for the flame.

I hope his friend loved the card as much as I enjoyed making it for him.

I decorated wine glasses with a tag for each family member (only few in photograph, very big family...lol) using the Build a Banner Kit by Emma of MCT and stickles.  I then used gold glitter pens and wrote the names on the tags.

I had a fabulous time doing this project.  The glasses added such a beautiful touch to the dinner table.  Thanks to Emma for the Build a Banner Kit.  It is AWESOME!!!

Thsi is my second challenge.  I love and enjoy the challenges by Emma of MyCreativeTime.  For the Throwback Thursday challenge Emma wanted us to use a Kid Friendly cart and make a card, layout or child treat bag.  Making this card was lots of fun.  I especially love making projects for boys.

To make my card I used the following supplies: (1) The helicopter image (4.18in) of the Boys Will Be Boys card and created it on my Gypsy; (2) the paper is DCWV Glimmer Stack; (3) black cardstock for the shadow;  (4) Fiskars Happy & You Know It stamp set (Boy's face); (5) Promarkers (Vanilla  & Brown) and Martha Stewart's white color pencil; (6) for the background I used the Star from MyCreativeTime Anyday Bingo & Crossword set; (7) Wobbles on the back of the helicopter; and (8) Stickles (Star Dust and Dimensional Faux Enamel (black)).
I hope you all enjoy this card.  I surely have a great time making it.
I so appreciate these challenges, as I am still learning and trying to get my blog up to date and organized.
Thank you Emma for this opportunity and thank you so much for stopping by.

I had so much making these pockets today.  It was my first time making any of them.  For this card I have thank Carlene of Pinkscrapper99.   She is very inspirational and it was really easy to follow her instructions.  The supplies I used are My Mind's Eye Organic Glitter Paper, ribbon from Stemmar, a Fiskars border punch and the rub-on is K&Co.
To make this envelope pocket I have to say thank you to Marla of LakeAvenueDesigns.  It was very easy to follower her instructions and I could not wait to make my own.  It was not just easy, but super cool because there is room for many tags.  I used for this pocket two standard sized envelopes,  Kaiser Flowers , the center flower pearls are from Accentcreativedesigns.com and pink cardstock for the tags: cream cardstock to cover the envelopes and did background stamping with Autumn Leaves and TPC Studio, G Studio stamp pads and Want2Scrap pearls and lastly stamp on back of tag is Cloud9Design - Simple Thought (Baby).

This slider is small and perfect for inside a mini or even to put on the cover of a mini album.  I have to thank Tracy of TracysTreasure24 for this slider card idea.  I supplies used for this slider are solid cardstock, Glitz stamps to design background, the ribbon is Making Memories and prima Flower on the outside, the pearl strands are from dollar store and lastly, the green leaves are mini Jolee's by You.

I love anything vintage, so when making this slider I kept that in mind.  I have to say thank you again to Carlene of Pinkscrapper99.   I am always inspired by my fellow crafters and am especially grateful for all they share.  To make this card I used brown textured cardstock by Core'dinations and plain cream cardstock to mat the slides portion of the card, stamps are by the girls' paperie and StazOn Timer Brown, a Prima flower (always add a beautiful touch) and lastly brown satin ribbon by Details&Accessories.

I hope you all enjoy the cards as much I did making them.  Please let me know what you think.  I would also appreciate any tips or suggestions.  Thank you so much for stopping by.
